Airlay Futon Mattress Queen Size
by Jon
It came with the bed frame, with a 30% off offer. So, it cost about $109.00.I got it about 4 years ago. When I first brought it home man it was great. I slept wonderfully for about 8 months, then the mattress started to sink into the metal frame of the bed. Over time it has progressively gotten worse. Now the metal frame pieces actually stick in my back. I've bought some of that memory foam bed overlay additions to put on top of it which helps a little bit. I would have to say that for the price and amount of time I've had it that it was worth the money. It's a relatively thick mattress with nice sewing. I'm guessing the inner materials are cotton or a semi synthetic substance but I can't be sure. I might eventually buy another one of these. Compared to other mattresses I've had, this one didn't really have any advantages. I mean it's better then sleeping on a floor but it's not magic or anything. The mattress is very light, I can move it around by myself. If I had to give it a number rating I'd go for a 6/10. One of the funny things about this mattress is that it has outlived the frame. It's amazingly durable the frame was all bent. But I got a new one. The way the mattress is sewed together it doesn't clump up on a large scale. I mean it does sink into the frame but it's not so bad that the filling is all over the place it's just minor displacement. The manufacturing quality is superb. But even though it's durability is so high I probably would not recommend it to any of my friends or family. If you have a child who needs a bed then this mattress would probably work well for them as they do not weigh as much as an adult. So in that regard I might recommend getting this mattress.
