My IKEA Mattress Review - IKEA Lycksele Murbo Mattress

I purchased the Ikea Lycksele Murbo Mattress from the wonderful Ikea store in Schaumburg, Illinois. I have been completely overjoyed at its quality, longevity, and comfort. I paid $180 for the mattress, which I believe to be a more than fair price for such an exciting item.

One of my favorite features of the mattress is that it folds up to become a couch. I don't have much space to work with in my Chicago apartment so I often find myself folding the mattress into couch form to conserve space.

I can just toss a few pillows and a blanket on it, and my guests have no idea that this couch is actually a bed! Imagine their surprise and envy when I tell them that the couch that they're relining on also serves as my nightly resting place!

Every time I have company there are always at least three people who tell me before they leave that they plan on purchasing an Lycksele Murbo Ikea mattress either for themselves or a loved one. I can proudly give this mattress a five star rating on a scale of one to five.

One last feature that I would like to mention is that the lack of springs makes this mattress completely quiet.

I toss and turn a lot in my sleep and my wife has complained that with other spring mattresses the creaking of the mattress when I move has jarred her out of a peaceful slumber. Not with the Ikea Lycksele Murbo Mattress!

In conclusion, you will not find a quieter, more comfortable, or more durable mattress for this low price. Thanks, Ikea!
