7-inch Jamison Marriott Bed Mattress

After sleeping in a Marriott in Tampa several times, I was so taken by the bed in my room that I called the hotel and asked what kind of mattress it was.

They told me to contact Jamison, and I purchased my own Jamison Marriott mattress within a few weeks. This was in 2007, and at that time, Jamison told me I could order a 7-inch mattress or a newer 9-inch model. Wanting the exact feel that the Marriott bed had, I took the 7-inch model.

What a disappointment. It was firmer than I expected, but worse, the mattress began sagging within a year, and after three years I couldn't sleep in it anymore because it felt like I was trying to roll uphill whenever I tried to move form one side to the other.

I again stayed at a Marriott a few weeks ago, and the bed was so comfortable, I wanted to buy it again. It seems that Marriott now uses the 9-inch model. But after spending a large sum on the first mattress which didn't last longer than three years before becoming unacceptably indented, I can't recommend this mattress to anyone.

Maybe the quality has improved; maybe I should have gotten the thicker mattress to begin with. In any event, for the price, I should have gotten a lot more satisfaction and a longer life from it.

Jamison Utopia King Size Mattress

This has been a horrible mattress. First few years were great. After about 4 or 5 yrs it started sagging. Their warranty isn't what they say it is. Good luck to anyone that buys one and has trouble with it.
