Jamison Resort Foam

I, like a lot of people love the Marriott bed. I recently went to a store who sells Jamison products and told them I was interested in the Jamison Marriott mattress. They pointed out a display bed which I laid on and was sure it was just like the Marriott 9 inch mattress I had slept on several times at various hotels.

I purchased the king size 9 inch resort foam mattress and it was delivered the next day while I was golfing. The moment I laid on the bed I was sure it was the wrong bed. It is very firm and way too hard for me. I have had the bed for 3 weeks and it's not got one bit softer.

The retailer said it would break in 5 to 8 percent softer than it was new. I have put a 4 inch memory foam topper on it just to be able to sleep at all. Has anyone had this problem?
