Ortho+Tempered Mattress - Tempered with Topper

I just wanted a "plain, ordinary" mattress when I entered the Ortho Mattress store. I wasn't prepared for the variety. "I just want a regular mattress," I said. The salesman started explaining the options.

When he got to the "Ortho+Tempered Mattress - Tempered with Topper," I rolled my eyes. "Come on," I said, "NASA technology?"

I bought it, even though there were cheaper models. And, yes, I made the right decision. Sleeping on this mattress must be what heaven feels like. I've had it for a little under a year, and I've never slept better.

My last mattress was a Serta (also a high-end version), and I remember having to get used to it. That was not the case with the Ortho. The few extra dollars was worth the extra hours of sleep. The store also delivered it the next day and had me test it at home before the delivery men left. I thought that was a nice touch.

For all of my life I have always slept on a metal coil spring mattress. I have a bulging disc in my back, my husband also has back problems.

Every morning we would wake up with back pain, sometimes it was so bad that I had to sit on the side of my bed and lean forward long enough so that the the pain would subside.

We received our income taxes this January of 2011 and decided we had to do something about this problem that we were having. I was in town one day and saw this place called Home Decor Furniture.

I walked in and started to look around at the different mattress sets. I sampled each one by lying on it. I have heard about memory foam mattress before and how they are supposed to work wonders, like relieving pain, helping you to sleep better etc.

The mattress I fell completely head over heels for was a memory foam Tempur-Pedic. At first I was kind of skeptical. The mattress I was looking at felt a little odd to me being that I was so used to the metal spring coils.

I decided though that I was willing to try anything to relieve the back pain that I have been experiencing for years. I asked the man how much the mattress was and he said the mattress and the Hollywood frame would be $512.00.

Wow! I thought to myself that is a lot of money. I continued with the purchase still having reservations. The man who sold me the mattress said that it had a ten year warranty. I had the man and another worker load the mattress into the back of my truck and brought it home. I fell completely head over heels.

The first night my husband and I slept on this mattress we slept like little babies. I have had no back pain at all since the first night I slept on this mattress.

I now feel rested when I wake in the morning. This piece of furniture is a god send. Thank you tempur-pedic!

My rheumatologist recommended this brand. They are ventilated memory foam, so not as hot as some brands--a big issue since I'm 50 and just starting menopause.

I have rheumatoid and osteoarthritis, plus have had multiple stress fractures in my spine and pelvis, so a comfortable mattress is a MUST. I've had this since 2007, and it's been a miracle.

10-inch Accu-Gold Twin Memory Foam RV Sleep System

I purchased this mattress online for two reasons: 1. It was very affordable, and 2. It had good reviews.

Its marketed as a "RV Sleep System", yet I use it on top of my queen box spring. I can honestly say, this was one of the best purchases I ever made. The mattress totaled at about 160.00, which is much cheaper than most memory foam mattresses.

On my days off, I don't want to leave this bed! I was so shocked that it was such good quality for such a cheap price. I highly recommend this brand to anyone who wants a cheap, and affordable memory foam mattress.

I have slept on many memory foam mattresses, and I can say that this mattress meets the same standards as ones that could cost well over 600.00. One of the only downfalls to the mattress, is that it is so large that I have to put king sheets on top of it. This isn't something I am complaining about, however.

I went from sleeping on a crappy Korean Queen box spring mattress, to a king memory foam mattress. It is also customizable to fit your taste. There are three different layers of memory foam in which you can place how ever you'd like.

Personally, I like my bed to be soft, so I place the softest layer on top. However the layer I have in the middle is harder, and would satisfy those who like a firmer bed. I had to write this review, because I seriously believe I hit the memory foam mattress gold mine.

When I was in search of a memory foam mattress, I was quoting prices roughly between $400-$600. Most of these only averaged at about 8 inches of memory foam. With this mattress, I was given 10 inches of memory foam, and a completely luxurious sleeping experience. I am so happy that I didn't allow the fact that its a "RV mattress", to steer me away from my purchase.

Queen 12" Therapeutic Memory Foam Mattress

Hi, I'm Bob, and I've had a lot of mattresses in my life. I've had problems with pretty much all of them. Some are too firm, some are too soft. Either way, for years I'd wake up in the morning groggy, experiencing acute back pain, and feeling needles from my fast asleep leg.

I got my Queen 12" Therapeutic memory foam mattress and, the morning after my first good night's sleep in years, threw my old mattress in the dumpster. The memory foam is just really useful. It stays clean, it's easy to clean in the event that it does get dirty, and drinks don't spill even when you're jumping on it!

I love just sinking into my memory foam mattress. I'm so comfortable that the only problem I have is that I can't read books in bed; I fall asleep too fast! This bed has really spoiled me. Having to sleep anywhere else for even one night, I find myself not nearly as comfortable at night, and wake up with the same old sores and cramps.

I would highly recommend this mattress. It's a great purchase, I've had it for a year and a half with no problems. It's not too expensive either, especially compared to the competing brands of Queen sized mattresses.

Cool Sensations 14 Inch Queen-size Memory Foam Mattress Review

I recently needed a new mattress. My old mattress needed turning and constant fluffing. The springs would come out of the mattress and poke me in the back. It was very painful.

My husband suggested I buy a memory foam mattress. I was discouraged because I assumed memory foam mattresses were expensive. We researched online and found lots of mattresses. My budget was 300 dollars. I wasn’t spending an arm and a leg.

I purchased a 14-inch memory foam mattress by Cool Sensations. It took a while to get used to because I didn't feel my husband get into the bed. The mattress didn't move at all. After a few weeks, I noticed my back wasn't hurting. I was getting full nights of sleep because the movement of the mattress didn't disturb me. It works with any box spring. The mattress hasn't needed to be turned yet.

I also received a 10-year warranty for the mattress. It relieved the pressure off of my hips and shoulders. I haven't been tossing and turning throughout the night. Overall I give this memory foam mattress a 4 out of 5. It was worth the money for the comfort I'm receiving. I went 200 dollars over budget. I wasn't upset because I think the money spent was well worth it.
