Pleasant Mattress Company's 10 Inch Bliss Memory Foam Mattress Review
by Connie
Rather, I spent the last week playing goldilocks, trying to find the mattress that was just right. I am happy to say that I finally found the perfect mattress. The glorious bed I am now perched in is my first memory foam mattress. The decision to switch from inner springs to memory foam was not an easy decision to make. It seemed that every sales rep, internet reviewer, and colleague alike, had their own pros and cons list regarding the issue. The promise of better back support first attracted me to memory foam. I was wary, however, of the negative reports regarding durability, foam bunching, and surprisingly one’s sex life. I decided to disregard extensive research and choose the mattress I found the most comfortable. In the end, I found the perfect memory foam mattress at Lifestyle Furniture in Fresno. The mattress set was incredibly comfortable, included a noteworthy warranty, and was surprisingly affordable. The mattress I took home is made by Pleasant Mattress Company - a local Fresno manufacturer. They employ only Central Valley residents and do not outsource to foreign countries. Thanks to companies like this, more valley residents can put food on the table and contribute to the local economy. They also strive to be eco friendly. The majority of the mattresses are made from recycled materials, and natural herbs. The foam is Visco Memory Foam, meaning the foam will always return to place after an indentation is place in it. All in all, I am happy with the manufacturer. Memory foam does not soften over time, I learned. It is very important to choose a mattress with the right density. You will be sleeping on it for the next 5-20 years. The collection I favored offers three densities. The firmest mattress has the least memory foam; therefore, it was only 8 inches thick. Not surprisingly it was also the least expensive. The softest mattress featured 12 inches of Visco Memory Foam, as well as the steepest price tag. I settled for the 10” Bliss mattress, as it’s named. I felt it was not too soft to compromise back support, but not to firm promoting tossing and turning. After ten nights of deep, peaceful sleep, I believe I made the right decision. Other than waking up well rested, the best part about the purchase was the cost. A standard memory foam mattress runs anywhere from 1000 dollars to 3000. My budget did not reach the four figures. The Bliss 10” mattress and box spring set cost me only $599. Other furniture stores who even broached that price point, only did so by compromising the warranty or selling a used product. My mattress came wrapped, fresh off the assembly line. The warranty far from sold itself short. All pleasant mattresses come with a 15 year non-prorated warranty. That means, no matter what year I am into my warranty, they will replace the mattress if I am unsatisfied free of parts. They charge nothing for parts or labor for 15 years. Overall, I am deeply satisfied with my purchase. I would recommend Pleasant Mattress to all here in Fresno. They deserve five stars for their product, company integrity, and customer service. I am looking forward to lying down all of this week as well, but this time in my new bed. What Are The Top Rated Mattresses?Go To Consumer Reports Mattresses Return To Best Mattress - Home |
