Serta Perfect Sleeper Pillow Top and Euro Firm Mattress

Serta Perfect Sleeper reviews can give us some insight into why the Serta Perfect Sleeper mattress is a Consumers Digest Best Buy. The Perfect Sleeper collection offered by Serta seems to be winning recognition left and right.

It seems to have found the secret formula of mattresses. It has played a monumental role in propelling Serta to the top of the ratings, which is partly why Serta is now considered one of the best mattress manufacturers in the industry.

Well, it's no wonder that Serta Perfect Sleep mattresses are gaining such acclaim these days. After all, it has been in the market for the past 75 years.

This clearly shows that the mattress collection has been through a lot, and Serta has been steadily improving its flagship model.

So far, here's the combination that Serta has come up with.

What The Serta Perfect Sleeper Mattress Offers

Advanced Comfort Quilt

Any regular mattress shopper would know that the number one thing to look for in a mattress is comfort. And Serta knows this, so the company makes sure this is the first thing that stands out when a consumer comes face to face with the Perfect Sleeper mattress.

In the Perfect Sleeper mattress, Serta uses a very soft, convoluted egg crate type of foam. Now, this type of foam offers the kind of comfort that's several layers higher than the regular comfort offered by just any mattress out there. The egg crate foam type is more precise in enveloping the body to provide soft support and plenty of plush cushioning.

The beauty of the Advanced Comfort Quilt is that all this is possible, but the type of foam used is soft, breathable, and allows pressure to pass right through without getting stuck at one area of your body.

Continuous Support Innerspring System

If there is comfort, then there should also be support. To offer this, Serta adds the Continuous Support Innerspring system, an exclusive technology the company has come up with. This is called 'continuous' because there is no break in the construction of the coils.

The coils are connected to each other continuously, so that they move smoothly as one. Thus, the entire body gets the same level of support and the support under the spine is consistent.

StabL-Base Double Beam Foundation

One of the classic features mentioned in Serta Perfect Sleeper reviews is the StabL-Base Double Beam Foundation, an ultra-strong foundation for mattresses. This uses double beams to keep the mattress stable and durable. But that's not the only benefit offered by this double beam foundation.

This kind of foundation helps to isolate motion on one side of the bed from the other side, which means any movement of the sleeper on the right side of the bed will not affect the sleeper on the left.

Total Edge Foam Encasement

The edges of the Serta Perfect Sleeper mattress are made entirely of a very strong and hard type of foam. Strong edges are very important in any mattress. If the edges break down first, the rest of the mattress will surely soon follow. So the edges have to be really sturdy like the edges of the Perfect Sleeper beds.

Serta Perfect Sleeper Moonstone Firm Mattress

The Moonstone is a popular mattress model from Serta, and the firm version is definitely the favorite of consumers who posted a review online. This is one of the mattress models that belong to the top of Serta's Perfect Sleeper mattress line.

The mattress features premium grade latex foam that can endure constant weight without developing body impressions. As with all Perfect Sleeper mattresses, the Moonstone also helps relieve pressure points. But with its firm comfort top cover, your body still gets all the support it needs.

My Serta Perfect Sleeper Review

by James Dupuy
(Platteville, Wisconsin)

The Serta Perfect Sleeper is *not* a perfect deal, but it's priced well for what it's worth.

Let me elaborate.

While I was rushing around making arrangements for a move (from Ohio to Wisconsin for a job), I didn't have much time to think about mattresses.

I desperately needed one - for the past seven years I had lived on a futon, which was suitable for a college and grad student. But now I needed a bed.

I had little time to devote to the task, and my purchase of a Serta Perfect Sleeper mattress was spontaneous. But I don't regret it too much.

I ended up grabbing it hurriedly from a mattress retailer in Dayton, Ohio. It looked solid and was priced right. And I've slept on it now for a full four years. My first thought is this: do your homework. I lucked out, because the Serta wasn't a total disappointment.

But I probably could have done better. My biggest complaint is in its handling of wear. I haven't had it throw a spring or anything, but it's definitely showing signs of age.

The areas where I sleep on most give less than they used to. So, four years in, it's a little bit lopsided. Further, the unused portions are a bit too springy for my tastes.

It might just be because I've grown accustomed to a futon mattress. But I still find it incredibly awkward to lie on areas where I don't automatically gravitate over the course of a night. It's like lying on a trampoline. That isn't to say it wasn't worth it. If memory serves me right, it was the most moderately priced for models that could fit in my frame.

But it's an odd dichotomy of too hard (on areas I sleep the most) and too soft (on areas I sleep the least) four years out. My advice is this: if you're not picky (and I'm not), and you're not looking for an investment that will last you, the Serta Perfect Sleeper isn't bad.

But, if you are sensitive to mattress quality and/or looking for a longer term deal, consider your alternatives.

Serta Perfect Sleeper "St. Charles Ltd." Plush Mattress (Queen)

by Melissa S.
(PA)

Overall, I really like the Serta Perfect Sleeper "St. Charles Ltd." Plush Mattress I bought. This product is made well, is durable, form fitting and just molds to your body. It is very soft and very comfortable to sleep on.

I like that it is plush and has a quilt-like layer. This mattress has allowed me to get a better night's rest and I feel refreshed in the morning. It really does help reduce tossing and turning and this product contains pro-comfort for extra support, which I really like.

This mattress has allowed me to sleep through the night and not keep waking up throughout the night. This is the perfect mattress for individuals who have a bad back.

Also, this product helps target key pressure point areas. This product also meets fire-retardant safety standards. I believe this is a very important safety feature to have on a mattress. Furthermore, this product has a foam-encased border rod, which helps give you edge support. This means that it is more durable and strong on the edges to prevent you from falling off the bed.

However, while the edge is strong, I still think it is possible you could roll off the bed while you are sleeping. I also like that the mattress is a nice white cover and I like the overall design of the mattress. I prefer a white mattress over a colored mattress.

In addition, this product offers a 10 year warranty. I think this is a very high quality product that will last for years and I would definitely recommend buying this mattress.

I think Serta mattress models are the best mattresses to buy and I have not had any problems with this model. While this mattress was somewhat expensive, it is well worth buying.

I think it is a better quality mattress compared to other brands and is much more comfortable.

Serta Perfect Sleeper Reese Plush Euro Top

by Lacey
(Minneapolis, MN)

I have always switched back and forth between mattress brands and never really found one that was superior to the others. But two years ago, upon recommendation, I purchased a Serta Perfect Sleeper mattress.

Trying it out in the store was all the convincing I needed. The minute I laid down I was relaxed and my body was supported. I have never had difficulty falling asleep on this mattress and I have never had sore muscles waking up. I would give it four out of five stars and I would recommend it to those who like a supportive yet plush mattress.

Serta Perfect Sleeper Bed

by Rammy
(Northborough, MA, USA)

This Serta mattress is fantastic. Before I bought this, I used to have so much trouble sleeping at night, but now, since I have bought the Serta Perfect Sleeper, I sleep so much better.

My wife and I can get a full night's rest in bed, without waking up in the middle of the night, and not being able to fall back asleep. I absolutely love it. I give it 4.5 Stars!

Serta's Westbury "Perfect Sleeper" Model, Tag # 304651

by Charlene
(York, PA, USA)

For ten years my husband and I have slept on our queen size Serta mattress and it's still holding up great! It's the Westbury "Perfect Sleeper" model, number 304651.

It offers fairly firm support, but has a comfort quilted top for luxury. Alone it would be fine, but I admit that I add a thin roll of memory foam to the top to relieve pressure points while I sleep. Together, it works awesome!

I have scoliosis with some tender points in my back especially. I've also had several back and neck surgeries this year, but this mattress has given me more than adequate support without hurting. I'm pretty picky about my mattresses, and very happy with this one.

On sale, if I remember correctly, (it was so long ago!) I believe it cost a little over 750.00 including delivery. Periodically my husband and I turn it and flip it so that it could wear more evenly. The side handles have helped in that process.

It was sold as an "easy care" product and I agree with that. It's been stain resistant. I also should tell you that we have children and I know for a fact that they (against our rules) jumped on our bed! Don't fear though because the mattress springs are still as intact as when we first bought the mattress.

I would definitely recommend this mattress to another consumer, especially ones like me who prefer somewhat firm mattresses without aggravating tender points in the body. It's ideal for somebody recovering from back surgery since its main structural system is supportive yet added topping makes it plush and supple to the body.

It's a help on sore joints and won't leave you stiff in the morning like many other mattresses can. (When I come home from traveling, I can't wait to snuggle up in my bed for relaxation and a great night sleep! Then I know I'm really home and happy.
