A Serta Perfect Sleeper mattress may be just the ticket for a great night's sleep. Customers and industry experts have stood behind the Serta brand for over seventy five years. These Serta mattresses combine quality materials and manufacturing with a great price.
There are some key features to the Serta Perfect Sleeper models. The first one is the continuous inner spring coil design.
One thing about an innerspring mattress is that after a few years the coils can lose their stability and therefore their support. Some mattress manufacturers counter this by tightly packing coils together. This leads to a very hard bed.
The Perfect Sleeper also gets stability from double beam base. At the bottom of the mattress is a solid frame that supports the coils and gives the mattress a firm foundation from the ground up.
Finally, on the top of the Serta Perfect Sleeper is layer of Advanced Comfort Quilt. The top layer is made by attaching a layer of quilt batting to egg crate foam. This helps with your circulation while you sleep as well as keeps you cool during the night.
Serta mattresses connect all their inner spring coils together. This design innovation provides support all the way from your head to your feet. It also takes the pressure off of springs near your hips and shoulders, therefore guaranteeing a longer life for your mattress while keeping the sleeping surface softer.
All of these features are found on every basic Perfect Sleeper mattress regardless of whether you get it in twin, long twin, full, queen, king, or California king. However, there are many other types from which you can choose.
If you are interested in some extra cushioning but still want firm support, you might go in for a Euro Top mattress. On top of the regular Perfect Sleeper is an extra quilted layer that is tailored down at the sides for a firm but cushiony night's sleep.
For a harder sleeping surface you should try out the Serta firm mattress. On this mattress there is no extra upholstery layer separating you from the Serta support system.
The price of these beds range from $400 to over $1000 depending on the size that you choose. While you can find good deals on the internet, it is always best to go into an authorized Serta mattress dealer and lay down on a sleep set yourself before buying it.
If you are considering buying a Perfect Sleeper, take a look at this checklist before making a final decision:
Serta Perfect Sleeper mattresses are a good choice if you want an inner spring mattress that will measure up well to other mattresses of its kind. With a ten year warranty and millions of satisfied customers, it is worth your time to check one out.
Advanced Comfort Quilt
Any regular mattress shopper would know that the number one thing to look for in a mattress is comfort. And Serta knows this, so the company makes sure this is the first thing that stands out when a consumer comes face to face with the Perfect Sleeper mattress.
In the Perfect Sleeper mattress, Serta uses a very soft, convoluted egg crate type of foam. Now, this type of foam offers the kind of comfort that's several layers higher than the regular comfort offered by just any mattress out there. The egg crate foam type is more precise in enveloping the body to provide soft support and plenty of plush cushioning.
The beauty of the Advanced Comfort Quilt is that all this is possible, but the type of foam used is soft, breathable, and allows pressure to pass right through without getting stuck at one area of your body.
Continuous Support Innerspring System
If there is comfort, then there should also be support. To offer this, Serta adds the Continuous Support Innerspring system, an exclusive technology the company has come up with. This is called 'continuous' because there is no break in the construction of the coils.
The coils are connected to each other continuously, so that they move smoothly as one. Thus, the entire body gets the same level of support and the support under the spine is consistent.
StabL-Base Double Beam Foundation
One of the classic features mentioned by mattress reviewers is the StabL-Base Double Beam Foundation, an ultra-strong foundation for mattresses. This uses double beams to keep the mattress stable and durable. But that's not the only benefit offered by this double beam foundation.
This kind of foundation helps to isolate motion on one side of the bed from the other side, which means any movement of the sleeper on the right side of the bed will not affect the sleeper on the left.
Total Edge Foam Encasement
The edges of the Serta Perfect Sleeper mattress are made entirely of a very strong and hard type of foam. Strong edges are very important in any mattress. If the edges break down first, the rest of the mattress will surely soon follow. So the edges have to be really sturdy like the edges of the Perfect Sleeper beds.

I was very excited recently to find a great Serta Perfect Sleeper mattress and box spring set with a memory foam topper built in (rather than a standard pillow topper.) I read a lot of reviews online prior to making the purchase and it was ranked at the top. When I saw that it was on sale at a local department store I decided that the time was right to make the purchase.
The suggested retail price was $1530 but I lucked up with a great sale price of $999. With delivery included at no extra charge, it was a great deal. Another great thing about the price was that it included a ten year warranty without any adjustments.
Compared to my old mattress, which was a Restonic, the Serta is like heaven. The memory foam topper forms to your body and it feels like you are sleeping on a cloud. I never had such a restful night with the old model. The only drawback is the height of the mattress and box springs. I am a short person and it comes up to my mid waist in height. It’s perfect for my tall husband but has taken some getting used to for me.
In my research, I found that the best time to buy a mattress is around the Memorial Day weekend. Most retailers have great sales during the holiday. I am certainly glad that I waited because I saved a lot of money. In this economy no purchase is too small. Anyone who is in the market for a new set, if they have the option, should wait until they can find one on sale. Paying full retail price makes no sense when there seems to be perpetual sales on mattress sets.
I would give the Serta Perfect Sleeper 4.5 stars out of 5. The only reason I would not give it a full 5 star rating is because of the height. When you see it on a showroom floor, it is lower to the ground and you don’t notice that type of thing. Overall, other than the height, I am completely satisfied. I hope that this set lasts years, but I would definitely buy another one.

We purchased the Serta Perfect Sleeper, pillow top in king size almost 10 years ago (right before my first child was born and in response to being a very uncomfortable pregnant woman!).
The Serta Perfect Sleeper has been a good choice for nearly 10 years, we have lived in four different locations and this mattress has moved with us each time.
It has provided a comfortable night's sleep with very few complaints, except the following: On our model the fabric covering the mattress is very scratchy and uncomfortable, you must always have a mattress pad on top of the mattress or you will feel the piling fabric from underneath the sheets.
The mattress is rather heavy and unwieldy to move. I know this from experience because we have moved across the country four times. The mattress is not the very most comfortable mattress you could find. I have definitely had more comfortable rest, but it's acceptable and it's primarily selling point is how sturdy it is.
Other than these fairly inconsequential concerns, I think this mattress has been high-quality and sturdy, particularly given that it has moved so many times and been carried up and down countless flights of stairs in the process.
I also have two children who have slept on, jumped, peed on, puked on, spilled on, etc. this mattress and I've been able to clean up the mess each time with simply soap and water. Again, the fabric on top of the mattress IS uncomfortable to lay on directly, but it does seem to provide some level of protection to the mattress, this is different than some of the newer mattresses with a more 'airy' light fabric covering.
Given the amount of abuse we've thrown at this mattress it's a miracle it's still sturdy enough to provide a night's rest. I think it's a fine choice for anyone looking for a comfortable mattress that can stand some tough treatment. I have slept on mattresses that are more comfortable than this mattress, I'm not sure there are mattresses that are tougher.

Once upon a time I did not sleep very well. I once had a water bed and every time I would move, water would slosh back and forth throwing me around like I was on a boogie board. Then I had your typical box spring mattress as I had gone off to college. I had one of those for about 4 straight years. I tended to switch sides all of the time, roll over, fix the pillows even though they weren't the problem. I would go to class ready to fall asleep at my desk. The only nights I slept well on one of those was if I had a few too many drinks.
Then I bought a Queen size Serta Perfect Sleeper Pillow Top Mattress and everything changed. I can fall asleep in 5 minutes now and stay asleep all night. I did not know they made beds this comfortable until I bought this mattress! I wake up well rested and ready to go. I think I am hitting that sixth level of sleep I have heard about which many people don't usually hit. Meaning I sleep deeply, and I never have before I bought this mattress. I never wake with a stiff back or neck either. The only problem I have with it is now when my girlfriend sleeps over she is passed out in 5 minutes.
I have had this mattress for a little over two years now. I have heard you are supposed to rotate mattresses on a regular basis to keep them from having a body impression but I have been lazy about doing that. However, it still doesn't have an impression so apparently it holds up well. The reason it is so comfortable is because of the pillow top. There are probably other reasons too such as high quality springs. However, it is definitely the pillow top I notice the most. I just kind of sink into it. I mean pillows are used to keep your head comfortable. What took them so long to figure out it could keep your whole body comfortable? I don't know but I am glad they did and I guarantee you would be very comfortable on this mattress too.
When I bought my Serta Perfect Sleeper Pillow Top Mattress I was a bit wary of the price. I have never bought a bed my self before so I did not know what to expect. I probably should have looked online beforehand so I would know what to expect but I didn't. I saw the $900 price tag and though "uhhhhh I don't know." However, I noticed this was actually a relatively cheap price compared to the other mattresses in the store. Then I laid on it and I didn't need any more convincing. I didn't even try out more than one other mattress. I figure it was worth it for me to finally sleep without waking 5 or 6 times a night. I was right. It is well worth the price. I'm a lot more productive than I used to be because I have more energy now that I finally sleep properly.
I would highly recommend the Serta Perfect Sleeper Pillow Top mattress. I would give it a 5 stars out of five and would definitely purchase the same one again if I was looking to buy another mattress. It is definitely worth the price I paid for it. I rarely wake up at night. I am happier, healthier, and more productive as a result. You will not be disappointed if you decide to purchase one your self. Sleep well friends!

My mattress is a Queen sized Serta Perfect Sleeper which I purchased about five years ago. I bought it at Rockaway Bedding in Newton, NJ which, I believe, is no longer in business. I paid approximately seven hundred dollars for it and although it may now be time to replace it, I have been very satisfied with it.
It is very comfortable and simple. I prefer a mattress that is fairly firm. Too much padding or cushioning seems to cause my neck and back to go out of alignment. My boyfriend also suffers from some back problems but the Serta seems to alleviate some of those issues. It's firm but has just the right amount of give.
There is not a lot of cushioning on top of it which I prefer. I do not like the Pillow Top mattresses or feather bed toppers. All of that padding seems to just collect dust and allergens. The issue I do have is that it does seem to have sunken in in the middle of the bed just a bit. Also, where it is sunken in, the springs are rather predominant.
There really isn't much explanation for this either considering my boyfriend and I each sleep on opposite sides of the bed and there is actually no weight sitting in the middle. This issue aside, I still have been happy and comfortable for the past five years.
Previously, I owned a Tempur-Pedic memory foam mattress. Despite all of the claims of being better for your back, I found it to be very uncomfortable and caused me to be sore upon waking every morning. It became stiff when it was in colder temperatures and too soft when it warmed up. It made it difficult to move at all in the middle of the night as only the exact place I was laying was at all pliable.
It seemed to weigh about five times that of an ordinary mattress and was awkward and difficult to move. It also was sort of a sponge for dust and other particles which really upset my asthma. I spilled a beverage on it which all but completely destroyed it.
I paid close to two thousand dollars for that mattress and was extremely unsatisfied with what I got for my money. After about two years, I finally had enough and decided to shop for a new bed, however, I did not feel comfortable spending a huge sum of money given my past experience in purchasing a mattress.
I settled on a much less expensive traditional Serta spring mattress and I have found it to be much more comfortable, hypo-allergenic, and not to mention, much easier to move when necessary.
I would consider purchasing the same model again however I think I would be more apt to spend a bit more money for a bed that will be more durable and last longer now that I have more confidence in what it is I am looking for in a mattress. I would rate my mattress as 3.5 out of five stars.

The Serta Perfect Sleeper is *not* a perfect deal, but it's priced well for what it's worth.
Let me elaborate.
While I was rushing around making arrangements for a move (from Ohio to Wisconsin for a job), I didn't have much time to think about mattresses.
I desperately needed one - for the past seven years I had lived on a futon, which was suitable for a college and grad student. But now I needed a bed.
I had little time to devote to the task, and my purchase of a Serta Perfect Sleeper mattress was spontaneous. But I don't regret it too much.
I ended up grabbing it hurriedly from a mattress retailer in Dayton, Ohio. It looked solid and was priced right. And I've slept on it now for a full four years. My first thought is this: do your homework. I lucked out, because the Serta wasn't a total disappointment.
But I probably could have done better. My biggest complaint is in its handling of wear. I haven't had it throw a spring or anything, but it's definitely showing signs of age.
The areas where I sleep on most give less than they used to. So, four years in, it's a little bit lopsided. Further, the unused portions are a bit too springy for my tastes.
It might just be because I've grown accustomed to a futon mattress. But I still find it incredibly awkward to lie on areas where I don't automatically gravitate over the course of a night. It's like lying on a trampoline. That isn't to say it wasn't worth it. If memory serves me right, it was the most moderately priced for models that could fit in my frame.
But it's an odd dichotomy of too hard (on areas I sleep the most) and too soft (on areas I sleep the least) four years out. My advice is this: if you're not picky (and I'm not), and you're not looking for an investment that will last you, the Serta Perfect Sleeper isn't bad.
But, if you are sensitive to mattress quality and/or looking for a longer term deal, consider your alternatives.

Overall, I really like the Serta Perfect Sleeper "St. Charles Ltd." Plush Mattress I bought. This product is made well, is durable, form fitting and just molds to your body. It is very soft and very comfortable to sleep on.
I like that it is plush and has a quilt-like layer. This mattress has allowed me to get a better night's rest and I feel refreshed in the morning. It really does help reduce tossing and turning and this product contains pro-comfort for extra support, which I really like.
This mattress has allowed me to sleep through the night and not keep waking up throughout the night. This is the perfect mattress for individuals who have a bad back.
Also, this product helps target key pressure point areas. This product also meets fire-retardant safety standards. I believe this is a very important safety feature to have on a mattress. Furthermore, this product has a foam-encased border rod, which helps give you edge support. This means that it is more durable and strong on the edges to prevent you from falling off the bed.
However, while the edge is strong, I still think it is possible you could roll off the bed while you are sleeping. I also like that the mattress is a nice white cover and I like the overall design of the mattress. I prefer a white mattress over a colored mattress.
In addition, this product offers a 10 year warranty. I think this is a very high quality product that will last for years and I would definitely recommend buying this mattress.
I think Serta mattress models are the best mattresses to buy and I have not had any problems with this model. While this mattress was somewhat expensive, it is well worth buying.
I think it is a better quality mattress compared to other brands and is much more comfortable.
I have always switched back and forth between mattress brands and never really found one that was superior to the others. But two years ago, upon recommendation, I purchased a Serta Perfect Sleeper mattress.
Trying it out in the store was all the convincing I needed. The minute I laid down I was relaxed and my body was supported. I have never had difficulty falling asleep on this mattress and I have never had sore muscles waking up. I would give it four out of five stars and I would recommend it to those who like a supportive yet plush mattress.

This Serta mattress is fantastic. Before I bought this, I used to have so much trouble sleeping at night, but now, since I have bought the Serta Perfect Sleeper, I sleep so much better.
My wife and I can get a full night's rest in bed, without waking up in the middle of the night, and not being able to fall back asleep. I absolutely love it. I give it 4.5 Stars!

For ten years my husband and I have slept on our queen size Serta mattress and it's still holding up great! It's the Westbury "Perfect Sleeper" model, number 304651.
It offers fairly firm support, but has a comfort quilted top for luxury. Alone it would be fine, but I admit that I add a thin roll of memory foam to the top to relieve pressure points while I sleep. Together, it works awesome!
I have scoliosis with some tender points in my back especially. I've also had several back and neck surgeries this year, but this mattress has given me more than adequate support without hurting. I'm pretty picky about my mattresses, and very happy with this one.
On sale, if I remember correctly, (it was so long ago!) I believe it cost a little over 750.00 including delivery. Periodically my husband and I turn it and flip it so that it could wear more evenly. The side handles have helped in that process.
It was sold as an "easy care" product and I agree with that. It's been stain resistant. I also should tell you that we have children and I know for a fact that they (against our rules) jumped on our bed! Don't fear though because the mattress springs are still as intact as when we first bought the mattress.
I would definitely recommend this mattress to another consumer, especially ones like me who prefer somewhat firm mattresses without aggravating tender points in the body. It's ideal for somebody recovering from back surgery since its main structural system is supportive yet added topping makes it plush and supple to the body.
It's a help on sore joints and won't leave you stiff in the morning like many other mattresses can. (When I come home from traveling, I can't wait to snuggle up in my bed for relaxation and a great night sleep! Then I know I'm really home and happy.

The brand of my mattress that I personally sleep on is a Serta Perfect Sleeper, Pillow-Top mattress. I bought this mattress directly from their website. I have been using this mattress probably for about 3 years now.
At the time that I bought it, I had found some really good coupons online, and the store itself was running some promotions that allowed me to pay only about $700 dollars for it. I did do some research before I settled on which mattress to buy. I went in stores and tried out various mattresses with various cushioning and support systems.
After comparing prices, I settled on Serta for the price as well as the quality and positive word of mouth from friends. I would say that since this is the only mattress I have ever purchased new for myself the price was well worth it. I sometimes have back problems and trouble sleeping, but with this mattress it was like I slept like before I had children! Which if you are a parent, you know what I mean about having the luxury to sleep through the night without being woken up by your child or children.
I adore pillow tops and truly do not know how I survived so long without them. I like how it makes you slightly separate from the support so you feel the comfort more than the support. You're still getting the support; you just don't feel it in a negative way. I have not had any problems so far per se, although I will say that finding a sheet cover to fit on my queen mattress with a pillow top required that I buy some new sheets because my old ones kept popping off because of the awkward fit of the pillow top.
Before I had Serta, I had other types of mattresses, but none really felt comfortable enough for me to be able to sleep through the night with no trouble. And I've got two young children under the age of 3! If you are like me and have either young kids who keep you going all day until you're exhausted at night and need a good night's rest, then this is the bed for you!
Also, if you suffer from back pain this is definitely the one to at least try out. The pillow top really does give an added coushin and my back has not been hurting me when I wake up in the morning. Not only does it not hurt me, but I wake up feeling refreshed because I didn't wake up in the middle of the night due to tossing and turning like I did on my older mattress.
So all in all, Serta might be a bit higher on the price ranges, but search the internet for coupons/discounts and pay attention to your local dealers because that is how you will get the best quality for the price. I only hope that you enjoy this new mattress as much as I have enjoyed mine! The Serta Perfect Sleeper Pillow Top Mattress gets a 5 star rating in my book.
I currently sleep on a queen-size Serta Perfect Sleeper mattress that was purchased approximately ten years ago for about 800 dollars at Macys department store. Prior to the purchase, I did not do any research. Instead, I tried out different brands and models, such as Simmons and Sealy, in the store. I decided to purchase the Serta Perfect Sleeper because it was a happy medium between soft and firm and the price was reasonable.
I feel that it is softer than my previous mattresses and that is was I liked about it. Standard queen sized sheets fit very well on the mattress and do not need to be stretched or tucked excessively. In addition, the light colored fabric disappears under light colored sheets and does not clash with the decor in my bedroom.
Over the years, the mattress has sagged on the side I sleep on. I have flipped and rotated it several times and it seems to help in the short term. Now, I wish it had more back support since I am older. I often find myself slumped into the sagging portion when I wake up in the morning.
Some nights, to avoid this, I have slept diagonally, across the mattress. I do believe it may be time for a new mattress. Considering I have had it for ten years, I do not think the sagging is representative of the quality of the mattress, just its age.
Other than the expected sagging, the mattress is holding up very well. The fabric has not frayed, faded, or discolored. The sides are holding up solidly and the sagging is only slightly noticeable to the eye.
Overall, I would rate my mattress four out of five stars. I am taking a point off only because of the sagging problem I have noticed. Again, I attribute this problem mostly to the age of the mattress and not necessarily the quality of workmanship of the mattress.
After my experience with this particular mattress, I would not change either brand or model. I would happily purchase this same brand and model of mattress in the future. The only exception would be if it is priced out of my range.
I have been sleeping on a Serta Perfect Sleeper Greenbriar Pillow Top for a couple years now. I can truly say that this is the most comfortable mattress I have ever used. It is very comfortable to sleep on. I like how long this bed is, I am pretty tall, so short doesn't work out for me.
The back support I can't really comment on, since I am young and have a good back. I think that is has pretty good back support though. It softness is just right, right where I like it. Not too soft, or too hard. I have had no problems with my mattress so far. It only been good to me, and it's been being used for at least ten years now. This also shows that the durability is great. Nothing is broken and everything is holding together very well.
I couldn't ask for a better bed at the price I got it at. I got this bed very cheap from a cousin that didn't need it anymore. He sold it to me for only $100 dollars, so I don't know what the exact real price is. To me it's been very worth the price. I've had it for a long time now, and it's still going strong.
I love this mattress, I wish it would last forever. I have a queen sized bed, perfect for my height. It's great for extra leg, body, and arm space. This bed is a lot softer than previous beds I have owned. Some people like hard beds, but they just aren't for me. A soft bed, in my opinion sleeps much better than a hard one. I have never really liked any of my beds, that is until I got this one.
It's also a lot bigger than other beds I have owned. It fits much better, there would be lots of space for even two people. On a scale of zero to five, five being the best. I would rate my bed as a 4, I assume there is better out there. I am sure they are quite a bit more expensive though. This bed is much more worth the money.
If this one breaks I'll be looking to find another one of them. I like this bed so much, I couldn't replace it with a different one. I would have to purchase another of the same model. Why would I try out new beds when this one is doing great.
When I was looking to find a new mattress for myself, I did almost no researching. Since I got it at a cheap price from my friend. Of course after I got it I looked up what other people thought of it. From what other people were saying to, it sounded to be a pretty great bed.
I've always wanted to try the sleep number bed. However, those beds are way too pricey. I would highly suggest this bed to anyone reading this review. It's a great all around bed, and very durable at that. One of my favorite things about it was that its pillow top was very soft. If you invest your money into this mattress, let me tell you, you won't be disappointed.

Before I purchased the Serta Danford Perfect Sleeper Queen size mattress and box spring, I had been alternating between sleeping on the floor, and sleeping on a twin sized mattress that was on my bunk bed since I was nine years old.
My husband and I were just married and moving into our first apartment together, and our twin mattresses were not going to cut it in there. We collectively decided that while we may be okay with getting a couch or a kitchen table second hand, we were not going to skimp on a mattress.
Apparently, humans spend at least one third of their lives sleeping, therefore sleep must be important to basic day to day functioning. As a result of sleeping on the floor, my back was constantly hurting, and I decided that it was the perfect time for a mattress upgrade.
We purchased the Serta Danford Perfect Sleeper at Big Lots with the box spring for $600 about three years ago. I remember the first time I laid down in that bed, complete with brand new bedding, and there was only one word that could come to mind: Heaven. The height of this bed and box spring is perfect for us; we don’t even need a bed frame.
We just put it right on the floor with the box spring, and together, they are still about three and a half feet tall. I would rate this bed at four out of five stars, and the only reason I won’t give it five stars is because unlike other mattresses, you can’t flip this one over because it has a pillow top type thing going on.
I do, however, rotate it every six months or so to ensure even wear, and that seems to work all right. I noticed that the more I sleep on this mattress, the less comfortable it seems.
I don’t know if that is actually how it is, or if I am just spoiled, though. Sometimes I do wake up with a stiff back, but I think it is just due to normal wear and tear of the mattress, and it is nothing yoga can’t fix.
Though it might be my imagination, I feel it sags a little bit, but rotating it seems to help it all even out. All things aside, this mattress is still really great to sleep on, especially compared with my other mattress that I had before.
It may not be top of the line, but I wouldn’t know any better. For the price, I would say it was definitely worth what we paid for it. I’m really not sure about the length of time a mattress is supposed to last, but I can say I feel no need to purchase a new one anytime soon.
I may consider buying the same model again when the time comes, but I might also look into other options. I am proud to say I am quite satisfied with my Serta Danford Perfect Sleeper.

I purchased my Pillow Top Serta Perfect Sleeper Mattress in 2008. So far I am pretty pleased with the mattress. The box spring that I purchased along with it on the other hand broke two weeks ago.
One of the boards cracked when lifting it off the bed to put on a new bed skirt so I’m not sure if it was a fault in the box spring or if it was something that I did wrong when moving it. I’m sure they fact my kids think it’s their personal trampoline doesn’t help matters either.
I just like many others live on a pretty tight budget so when I went out on my search for a set of mattresses I was looking for a steal. After leaving very many furniture stores very frustrated with prices that just seemed outrageous to me I was just about ready to give up.
Last stop of the day I was surprised to walk into a Sam’s club and see such a wide range of mattresses at such a great price. The nice gentleman who was helping me said there were small flaws here and there which are why they were able to sell it at such a decent price. It was only $375 for both the mattress and the box spring.
I’d say this is probably one of the best mattresses that I have ever owned especially for the price. The saying you get what you pay for is pretty much true. There are spots that seem to be wearing on the mattress and since it is a pillow top you can’t flip it over. Some of the seams around the edges look like they may be starting to come loose also. I’ve noticed the spots where my husband and I lay the most is starting to sink in.
We sleep pretty close together most of the time anyways but waking up in the middle of the night and him rolling over on top of me is no fun! I went out last week and bought a two inch memory foam topper and oh my goodness that was the trick. That was what it needed for sure it made all the difference in the world.
Some people wouldn’t agree with me but I love the fact that it’s soft. I like being able to sink down into the mattress a little. I think it is a good combination of comfort and firmness. My last set of mattresses I could honestly feel the springs on my back when I laid down and I am thrilled to report that even after almost 4 1/2 years that isn’t the case with this set!
This mattress gets 4 stars in my opinion…I have no regrets purchasing this mattress and I will go back to the same Sam’s Club store and purchase the next time I need a new mattress set. I by far wasn’t expecting perfection when I bought it and I know that it is not the best on the market but it by far isn’t the worst. I was pleasantly surprised I was able to get the quality of a mattress that I did for the money it cost me.

My present mattress is a Serta Perfect Sleeper, which was purchased from Sears approximately 4 years ago. The mattress is a queen size with a pillowtop, it is extremely soft and comfortable.
The firmness is quite suitable for my preference, it is firm enough, but not overly firm, and I have never woken up with a backache or pain. So far I have not experienced any issues with the mattress and once this mattress has lived out its usuable life, I will be very likely to purchase another Serta.
My boyfriend stayed with me for a few months before moving into his new place, and he just recently went and bought a Serta. He loved the comfort of my mattress so much, he felt his was subpar. I love the fact that my sleep movement didn't disrupt his sleep or mine, the mattress is a good size and doesn't creak or make any noise from movement.
So far my Perfect Sleeper has lasted me through 4 years of college is a variety of living situations, yet is still as comfortable as the day I bought it. I have owned a few other beds, this was my first queen size bed, and compared to my previous experiences, this mattress is durable, soft and not overly difficult to move or transport. The mattress has good flexibility and fits perfectly with my frequent movement during sleep.
Though the mattress was not inexpensive, it was reasonably affordable and overall for comfort, strength and quality, I would rate the Serta Perfect Sleeper a 4.5 out of 5 stars. It provides the proper mix of support and comfort, I fully enjoy sleeping on my Serta mattress and though I may look at newer and larger versions of the Perfect Sleeper, I will most likely stick with that brand and model of mattress in the future.
