Sertapedic Mattress Review

After dating for four years my college sweet heart and I decided to get married. We had our wedding in January deciding that it would be a perfect start for our last semester of college.

My mother as a wedding gift had promised us a mattress when we finally decided to settle down. My husband and I were happy to find that we were pregnant in April and planned to move closer to my mom at the end July.

We found a cute little apartment and finally took my mom up on her offer to get us a bed. A combination of the pregnancy and of sleeping on the floor during the move had left my back in a horrible state of pain. Since my mom was on a budget we had to look for a mattress that was comfortable but not overly expensive.

At first I was disheartened to find that most of the retail mattress stores priced their mattress sets for over a $1000. We changed strategies and started looking at mattress discount stores.

We were able to find a super comfortable queen sized Sertapedic mattress at the store “mattress discounters”. The set, which included the mattress and bedspring, ended up only costing my mother $430, which was a great deal for the set.

We placed the order and within two days the mattress was delivered to our home. The mattress is extremely comfortable, the perfect combination of soft and firm. Most importantly to me, and my expanding pregnancy belly, this mattress provides great support to my back and legs. Every morning I wake up feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

In the past I have had foam top and pillow top mattress, but I have found these mattresses to be too soft. Soft top mattress can cause the sleeper to sink into the mattress, making it hard to even get yourself out of the bed. This mattress, which has a thin pillow top, is soft and bouncy. I would suggest this mattress to anyone.

Serta Sertapedic Mahoney Firm (Queen)

After sleeping on a conventional spring mattress for 20 years the Serta Sertapedic Mahoney Mattress seems as if I'm literally sleeping on air.

The second you lay down on this bad boy its hard to get up for a solid eight hours.

The mattress is just firm enough to support my aching back every night, however, it is also so soft and comfy I don't know how I slept on springs so long.

After about three weeks of sleeping on this mattress I could notice the difference in my energy levels during the day.

I am now able to sleep all through the night comfortably, which makes a big impact on my daily life.

Where I used to spend half the night sleeping on the couch, it is now very hard for me to get up in the morning.

The mattress is about 55 inches in width and 74 inches in length. It is not as big as some other queen size mattresses I've seen, but it certainly gets the job done.

Also, the staff and service are exceptional - I felt that the staff at Serta really cared about my sleep habits and worked with me to find the best combination of layers for my needs.

The exchange policy is good too. I bought the mattress with a set of Serta temper-pedic pillows and they are a great addition to the mattress.

I have been plagued with neck problems ever since my high school football days and these pillows help alleviate the pain.

I bought this mattress for around 600 dollars, and now its on sale! It was still worth the money I'd say.

So if you're looking for a great mattress at a decent price, I would suggest the Serta Sertapedic Mahoney Mattress. Good Mattress, good service, buy it.

Sertapedic Queen Heiress Mattress by Serta

I have recently purchased a Sertapedic Queen Heiress mattress by Serta. I would have to say it was one of the best decisions I have made in a long time. I bought it from a Sears department store in my town and have used it for a few months now as my primary bed.

I paid about $400 for this mattress including tax which I think is a great deal for the quality of the mattress. The mattress came with a 10 year warranty, I don't think it will end up being necessary, but it is a nice feature. I would have to say that it was totally worth it.

I am having a better and fuller night sleep than ever. If I didn't buy this model again, I would at least buy another Serta in the future. This mattress is high quality without breaking the bank which is great for a college student!

The memory foam padding would have to be one of my favorite features. The mattress has an extremely soft feel and has good support, making the mattress very comfortable. It comes with its own Serta Boxspring as a foundation and is a no flip quality.

The Heiress holds shape and is even, so it doesn't just bow in where you slept the night before. The evenness of the mattress is great because your partner is not disturbed with any turning and vice versa.

The only complaint I can think of is that my significant other complains about the mattress being too soft, but I think that is just a preference difference. I feel like I am sleeping on a cloud!

It is a definite upgrade from the Walmart futon I had been sleeping on. I have to give the Sertapedic Queen Heiress four out of five stars.
