Simmons Beautyrest Mattress - The Softest And Most Comfortable! 4 Solid Stars
by Diane
We bought the mattress at Costco and felt the price was more than fair. Before buying, we shopped around at several mattress stores and couldn't beat the price for a name brand mattress. We paid around $1000 for a king sized mattress. This was at least $200 cheaper than the same brand/model anywhere else we looked. It was easy to set up, and overall we have been happy with it. My biggest complaints are that it is hard to move - for some reason, our mattress does not have handles on it. So trying to move that thing is next to impossible. You don't really think about that feature until you are trying to get a HUGE king sized mattress down stairs during a move, but trust me, you want handles. If you never have to move the thing, fine, but if there is a chance, make sure you check. After using this mattress for a few weeks, we also decided it wasn't as soft as our previous one. We have ended up buying a memory foam topper to make it softer, and that has made all of the difference. If I was going back to purchase another mattress, I would consider buying one of the memory foam brands, simply for the comfort and softness. One of the big positives to this mattress is that is does not need to be flipped or rotated. That is a huge convenience factor, and makes it worth not being as soft as some of the others. Overall, I would recommend this bed and give it 4 solid stars. What Are The Top Rated Mattresses?Go To Consumer Reports Mattresses Return To Best Mattress - Home |
