Purchased last spring from Mattress Firm. Extremely comfortable; both plush and supportive.

Both my husband (firm sleeper) and I who need more cushioning have been sleeping very well on this mattress. I look forward to sleeping on it every night!

Simmons BeautyRest Mattress

We bought a BeautyRest about 15 years ago and were happy with it, but it came time to replace it. We looked at Select Comfort and TempurPedic and ended up buying another BeautyRest at the Mattress Firm in late July.

For us it has been a mistake and trying to recover from the mistake has been a hassle.

AFTER we bought the mattress and discovered the problem described below we learned Simmons had redesigned the BeautyRest very recently. If you are light (weight less than 160?? pounds the bed may be okay, but for me it's like sleeping in a furrow of a plowed field or maybe in a ditch.

In one location my body is tilted up on the right side and if I move slightly I become tilted up on the left. Thinking it was a manufacturing defect I tried lying on my wife's side and it was the same thing.

The Mattress Firm said it was a manufacturing defect and with me saying that couldn't be so they insisted on changing it out for another copy of the same mattress.

Naturally, it had the same problem. We still don't have a replacement and I'm not sure where this is going to lead.

This has been such an unpleasant experience I dread ever having to buy a mattress again.

Simmons Beauty Rest Classic

Oh my God. Run fast for the door and don't look back. We bought this queen sized beast three years ago for over a thousand dollars.

It replaced a relatively cheap $400 mattress that was ten years old. After about six months this thing started to develop a hump in the middle and feels like it is shoving you off the edges of the bed. I only weigh 125 pounds and my hubby is not a large man.

I called the store where I bought it and they sent out a guy to measure. It was 1/4 inch from being what they considered "defective". Simmons would not budge on this. So essentially it has cost us 500 a year to try and sleep on their really crappy bed.

Went back to the store today and they assured me they were going to make it right. Like I said- run- this mattress is torturous. Not Simmons- the store- is helping us.

Several years ago, my husband and I bought a mattress from a reputable furniture store. Within a matter of weeks, the mattress was sagging in the middle and literally falling apart. We were livid because we spent good money for this particular mattress. We returned this mattress and set about searching for the best mattress our money could buy.

We went to every furniture store within 100 miles radius of our home. We flopped on every make and model there was. Luckily my husband and I have similar needs in a mattress so that made it a little more easier than it might have been, if we didn't agree on firmness. Finally we tried the Simmons Beautyrest mattress. It felt great, but would it be durable?

We were apprehensive due to our previous purchase, but the salesperson made us very comfortable with our choice. Another couple in the store said they were coming to buy a Beautyrest too, because theirs was 6 years old and still in excellent condition, but they had bought a King sized bed and had to get a new mattress. They eagerly gave us the thumbs up on the Simmons Beautyrest. We bought the Beautyrest and when it was delivered to our house, we were shocked at how heavy this mattress was compared to the fall apart, lightweighted mattress we'd returned.

After sleeping on this mattress and having the use of it for quite some time now, we will never buy a different kind. The Beautyrest is everything it claims to be and more. The density of it is because of those incredible pocketed coils.

The way it contours to you, is amazing. Haven't had back problems since. We'd recommend this mattress to anyone. It is a reasonable priced item and well worth the cost. We bought our Beautyrest at a furniture store in Eugene Oregon.

Simmons Beautyrest Bamako Plush King-size

Currently, I have been using Simmons' Beautyrest Bamako plush king sized mattress for the last 2 years. It really is value for my money. It feels soft enough to make me want to lie down at any time of the day and not too soft that it makes my spine ache. All in all I’ll give my bed 4 out of 5 stars.

My husband and I bought a Simmons Beautyrest mattress after much research. We have had it now for 2 1/2 yrs. and right after the first yr. we felt like we were laying in a ditch. It got worse and worse and now we are taking turns sleeping on the couch.

We decided to turn to the Simmons company for our 10 yr. warranty and they sent a man from a company that checks out the mattress and after his report was sent, we got a letter saying that they are sorry but they do not feel to replace the mattress at this time. Unbelievable!

I have in the past 1 1/2 yrs. have had many many back problems, from waking up in the morning and can't hardly walk or twist or turn, to out and out just pain in my back when I do anything. I went to the doctor and they did x-rays on my spine and it now shows bone spurs and my lower back needs decompression from the Chiropractor.

I went to the Chiropractor for awhile and it helped a little but had to purchase an inversion table. and all this costs money. In the meanwhile, I am not sure if any of it is helping because I am waking up on this terrible bed that cost us about $1,700.00 and we don't have the money to replace it.

I am very disappointed in this product and also the way Simmons have just brushed us off. I have never had to use a warranty before, but I want to know.....Why are they worth it, if you can't use it anyways....Especially under these circumstances.

Now I have medical problems and am trying to get my back straight and I still have a lot of my life to live and don't know where to turn if Simmons won't help.....I will NEVER buy another Simmons mattress or product again....If they can't live by their warranty, then what is the point of having a warranty!!

Simmons Beautyrest PillowTop

Me and my wife purchased this mattress June2,2010. She developed acid reflux and a great deal of stomach problems 2 weeks later.

She went to the doctor and was given a upper G.I. and a colon exam, every thing came back normal. I than back tracted all the things we were eating and doing differently up till this time and elimitated everything systematicly.

We decided to sleep in the spare bedroom to see if the mattress was the culprit. This is the second day of this sleeping arrangement, and her acid reflux and stomach problems are disapearing, and the pains in my back and hips have almost gone away.

It has been a great bed, like the Sleep Number bed, but not limited to rounded off numbers, so the adjustable comfort is better. it has been several years since we got it, and i have had severe back pain that was helped as much as a bed can help by this bed. but we are at a place where we need a new top piece for over the air mattress compartment.

This is the worst bed I have ever owned. It started getting uncomfortable the first month we slept on it and has gotten progressively worse.
My hips legs and shoulders hurt from all the springs I can fell. I email the company and they did not even have the decency of a reply.
I will never again buy a Simmons mattress!

Simmons Beautyrest Classic DeMille

Within 2 weeks of sleeping on it I felt like I'd been hit by a truck. My neighbor asked what was wrong withm me - I was all crooked.

I had a queen size mattress, bought new, that felt as if 2 people had been sleeping in it for 10 years.

I sleep in the middle of the bed and it felt like I was falling off into either side, where others had been sleeping - this should not happen on a brand new bed. I went back to sleeping on my 20 year old Sealy Posturepedic! It has way more support!
