Simmons Beautyrest

My husband and I bought a Simmons Beautyrest after much research. We have had it now for 2 1/2 yrs. and right after the first yr. we felt like we were laying in a ditch. It got worse and worse and now we are taking turns sleeping on the couch.
We decided to turn to the Simmons company for our 10 yr. warranty and they sent a man from a company that checks out the mattress and after his report was sent, we got a letter saying that they are sorry but they do not feel to replace the mattress at this time. Unbelievable!
I have in the past 1 1/2 yrs. have had many many back problems, from waking up in the morning and can't hardly walk or twist or turn, to out and out just pain in my back when I do anything. I went to the doctor and they did x-rays on my spine and it now shows bone spurs and my lower back needs decompression from the Chiropractor.
I went to the Chiropractor for awhile and it helped a little but had to purchase an inversion table. and all this costs money. In the meanwhile, I am not sure if any of it is helping because I am waking up on this terrible bed that cost us about $1,700.00 and we don't have the money to replace it.
I am very disappointed in this product and also the way Simmons have just brushed us off. I have never had to use a warranty before, but I want to know.....Why are they worth it, if you can't use it anyways....Especially under these circumstances.
Now I have medical problems and am trying to get my back straight and I still have a lot of my life to live and don't know where to turn if Simmons won't help.....I will NEVER buy another Simmons mattress or product again....If they can't live by their warranty, then what is the point of having a warranty!!
