Although I believe this model is discontinued...this is the BEST mattress I have ever slept on!

I have back problems and cannot sleep on any bed.

I've had this one for about 7yrs, still holding up nicely.

Purchased a new Gresham Simmons from Rooms to Go - miserable!

In pain the first night with pressure point pain in my shoulder and lower back.

Cannot get a refund from Rooms to Go - it's their policy NOT to refund only to exchange.

BEWARE if you have back problems. Purchase from Macy's or another store that offers REFUNDS.

Simmons, Pillow top mattress

We’ve had our Simmons mattress for about three years, and my husband and I couldn’t be happier with it. John and I spent many days looking for the perfect mattress. We checked online and with friends and soon knew that we wanted a pillow top because everyone agreed that they were the most comfortable.

My husband and I made very sure to get a mattress that was rated high for comfort. John is a very poor sleeper who tosses and turns and only manages to sleep four or five hours a night and we have found through trial and error that the more comfortable and relaxed he is the better he sleeps. Obviously, with this in mind, we selected our mattress with great care. After narrowing the type of mattress we wanted down, we checked the local bedding and department stores to price and compare pillow tops.

We ended up buying our Simmons pillow top set from JC Penney on sale for only eight hundred and fifty dollars! We love it. Probably sometime this year, we are going to have to break down and buy a new one, and we are going to look for a similar Simmons product. We rate our Simmons pillow top mattress as five stars.

The only possible difficulty you might have with a Simmons pillow top mattress is that it is a bit high, so if you have trouble getting into a high bed keep that in mind.

Simmons Candace Plush Firm Pillowtop King

Bought this mattress around 2001. It has been a great mattress and is still fairly comfortable. However, after 10 years, it is time to shop for another.

What I really want is to get this exact same mattress again, but alas model names change.... So, I am looking in the World Class category under plush firm pillowtops as I believe the Candace was near the top of the line 10 years ago.

Simmons Montano Mattress

Worst purchase ever! Purchased the Simmons Montano box/mattress set 10/09 and within a couple of months started having backaches in the morning. We contacted the store numerous times leaving message after message and always being told we are working on it. Finally, I called the manufacturer.

Again, leaving message after message. An inspector was sent. She found the mattress was showing signs of irregular wear and especially with the support. We were told the store would contact us...nothing. Just two years and the back discomfort is terrible when waking up in the morning. There is no support and very disappointed in the store where we purchased the set and that the manufacturer didn't stand behind the products.
