Simmons Farmingdale Pillow Top

Great Bed for a great price! I bought my queen size Simmons Farmingdale Pillow Top mattress about 2 years ago and so far it has been a pretty great mattress.

I really like this bed, it has a soft top but is actually a very firm mattress and for someone who sleeps on both their side and their back, this is a good mattress that keeps me moderately comfortable throughout the night.

It wasn’t exactly what I expected when I purchased it but the price was very low compared to some of the other options in the store and for less than half the cost of the other Simmons mattresses, I got a name-brand mattress and a very good bed.

Overall I would rate it a B+ because while it’s not the most comfortable bed in the world, it is a great starter bed. It is definitely firm and comfortable, but in the future I would probably go with a style of mattress that isn't a pillow top. I think the pillow top just creates the illusion of softness but after hours on the mattress, it is much more firm than I originally thought.

I don’t mean to say it is uncomfortable it is just not as soft of a mattress as you think when you lay down on it for five minutes in the store. If you buy this mattress and the box spring that comes with it, be prepared for a pretty high bed. I actually like that all together the top of the bed is about three feet off the ground, but if you don’t like jumping down from a bed then this might not be the bed for you.

Ultimately it was a great purchase for the price; in the future I would invest in a higher quality mattress that is much softer.

Simmons Deep Sleep Eternity

Simmon’s Deep Sleep Eternity model mattress is great. I’ve had it for over a year now and I have no complaints about it. It lives up to its name in the way that it does deliver great sleep.

I usually feel well rested in the mornings when I wake up and don’t find myself tossing and turning as much as I used to before. I enjoy the comfort of this mattress as I sink into the bed at night. It is very comfy for the most part, not like your regular department store mattress.

I purchased this mattress from Sears, but I reckon it is available at many stores such as Sleep Country, The Bay and online web pages. I paid roughly $800 for this mattress, but it was well worth the buy. I have a feeling it will last for an “eternity”, hence the name of the model. I would tell you that it is worth the buy and you will feel extreme comfort on this mattress.

If you have problems sleeping, this will take a few steps in resolving that problem. It is worth the buy. I would think that any Simmons Deep Sleep brand would deliver the same results and prices range from $400 to $900. I was told that the mattress can expect to last over 10 years, which is excellent.
