Sealy Candlewick Plush Euro Top Mattress

I have had my mattress for more than one year. It is a Sealy Posturepedic Euro Candlewick mattress set.

I purchased during the Memorial Day holiday sale at Macy's. I would rate this mattress a four on a five point scale. When I purchased the mattress it cost me seven hundred dollars after finance charges. We had looked at it prior to the Memorial Day sale and it would have cost us about thirteen hundred dollars.

My husband and I love this mattress. He was initially resistant to the idea of a pillow top mattress, thinking it would be too soft. He tends to want a firm mattress, as he has had back problems in the past. This mattress is the perfect balance of both. the soft pillowtop is inviting and soft , but the mattress is still very firm.

The mattress is deeper than most and requires a deeper pocket sheet than a regular mattress. The bed is incredibly comfortable. It is soft , but does not have too much give, where you feel like you are sleeping on nothing. At the same time it is incredibly firm and has a ton of support for your body.

I would buy the bed again and again if given a choice. The one drawback to the bed is that it is slightly too stiff when you first buy it. It was firm and pillowy , but needed to be broken in. The salesperson explained to us that there is a layer of foam in the center of the mattress. She also said that the mattress will take a little time to "loosen".

The foam took about three months to feel as if it was completely molded to us. The bed is truly one of the best purchases that we have made. I would recommend it to anyone who asked.
