Tempur-Pedic AdvantageBed Memory Foam Regular Size Mattress
by Daniel Pense
Those of you who are considering getting a TempurPedic Advantage Bed mattress will not be disappointed in your purchase. I have had one for almost 10 years now and not only is it a great mattress to sleep on, I have back problems and this bed has greatly reduced the back pain that I experience at night.
The mattress itself is a very soft type of foam that conforms to your body as it heats up. At first it seems firm when you first lay down on it, but as you continue to lay down, it becomes plush and you begin to literally sink into it. It practically cradles you!
One of my greatest likes about this bed is whenever I have to get up at night, I don't wake up my girlfriend. It is kind of difficult to roll out of, since you sink into it as it warms up.
My biggest problem with TempurPedic mattresses
is they are very prone to being damaged when you are moving into a new house. The last time I moved, one of my friends didn't realize that the mattress had caught onto the latch of his truck's tailgate, and he made a huge gash down the middle of the bed as he pulled it out.
Another problem I had is the base frame of the mattress doesn't seem to be very sturdy. I have broken two of them since owning my TempurPedic mattress. I don't know if this is because the mattress itself is a heavy mattress to begin with and the base frame just can't take my extra weight, or if it is a quality of design issue with the base frame itself. Regardless, this also is covered with the 20 year warranty that the mattress comes with, so there shouldn't be a problem. And if for some reason TempurPedic changes their warranty policy, you could always buy another base frame from a local store, since they are practically the same as a regular spring mattress bottom.
All in all, I am very happy with my purchase. I feel that the TempurPedic mattress is a very good investment, since it will last you a lifetime. If it doesn't, then the warranty will make sure you have a bed for at least 20 years.

We purchased this bed after sleeping on a similar TempurPedic at a luxury hotel. My husband loves it. . . I have arthritis in my hips and I haven't gotten a good night's sleep in several months since we purchased this bed.
I think we should have purchased the Tempurpedic Cloud, or something that is a little bit softer. . . sleeping on the over-stuffed leather love seat in the living room is more comfortable for me right now than the Advantage bed.
The TempurPedic quality and customer service is EXCELLENT. It is a very good bed - just too hard on my hips.
I'm sure we'll keep it because my husband loves it. . . I'll just be sleeping in the living room!!

I purchased one of the TempurPedic mattresses about two and a half years ago and still have it. Seeing the commercials is what really sold me on it.
I purchased it over the phone and it was a pretty penny almost two thousand dollars. I had a spring mattress my whole life and was excited to try something new.
I really did not understand the all the tech stuff about the Tempur material, foam, etc... but it sounded like it was going to be a great experience and if I ever wanted to drink wine and jump on the bed at the same time I could!!
When I got the mattress it was a little harder then I expected, but I got used to that really fast and it has done wonders with my back, I would definitely recommend it to anyone in search of a mattress. It is a little pricey, but you will keep it a long time and your body would thank you for it.
